A great UHY client is seeking a Sr Controlling Analyst
. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, cost accounting experience, and strong financial analysis skills.
The Sr Controlling Analyst role is an onsite position. This is a direct hire position.
Sr Controlling Analyst Responsibilities- Support financial planning, analysis, and controlling activities for a manufacturing operation.
- Analyze financial results and prepare reports related to income, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial reporting processes.
- Support cost accounting activities, including standard costing, manufacturing cost analysis, and variance reporting.
- Analyze actual costs and provide meaningful insights into operational and financial performance.
- Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to support business decisions and improve financial results.
- Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives and track financial impacts.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
- Support special projects and provide financial analysis for strategic business initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in finance, controlling, cost accounting, or a related field.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive manufacturing.
- Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience analyzing manufacturing costs.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting experience.
- Understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and internal control concepts.
- Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with operational leadership.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and business partnering abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
