Job Description:

The Accounting Clerk III will perform complex clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments and prepare accounting statements and financial reports.
** Key

Job Responsibilities
*** Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
* Prepares financial reports and various accounting statements.
* Posts journal entries to general ledger.
* Generates summary sheets to be used by supervisor or auditor.
* Processes payroll and prepares necessary payroll reports.
* Proofs accounting reports for clerical accuracy.
* Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures.
**** Education and/or Experience Required
***** High school diploma or equivalent required, with some bookkeeping coursework.
* Three to five years of related experience required.
** Required Skills/Abilities
*** Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures, with ability to train others in related practices and procedures.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
* Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.

***** Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
