Staff Accountant

Our client, a well-established and growing organization in the Murfreesboro area, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Analyze financial data and support reporting processes
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support audit requests and maintain accounting documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
