Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time, around pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.). Work may require more than 40 hours per week and includes weekends and evenings. Requires mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing and speaking English) and the ability to handle moderately high noise levels. Requires sufficient ambulatory skills to perform duties at the hospital.
PositionDescription
Physical requirements include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing, as well as manipulating (lifting, carrying, moving) up to 50 pounds. Requires good hand‑eye coordination, arm‑hand‑finger dexterity, and visual acuity for keyboard use and equipment operation. Must be exposed to a variety of pets that may bite or scratch, and occasionally to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards and controlled substances.
PayThe pay range for this role is $15.00 - $16.44 hourly.
