Senior Manager, Product Management – e-Houses

• Lead product management for the nVent Engineered Building Solutions E-house segment
• Improve product line performance through revenue growth, margin expansion, and productivity improvement
• Apply market insights to develop long-term technology and product lifecycle strategies
• Focus portfolio standardization on expanding operational capacity and improving customer experience
• Coordinate strategic programs and activities through cross-functional communication
• Conduct voice-of-the-customer research and field testing to identify unmet customer needs
• Drive development of new products and services
• Develop quantifiable value propositions for product families
• Articulate product differentiation to customers, channel partners, and sales teams
• Partner with product development teams on product definition, development, pricing, market introduction, sales tools, and promotion plans
• Drive Advanced Product Development processes, tools, and metrics for product management and engineering
• Foster a culture of innovation and concept testing to improve quantified customer outcomes
• Identify and charter strategic projects leveraging technology trends, market trends, and integrated solutions
• Cultivate external partnerships to accelerate the technology funnel and product commercialization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Engineering or Business highly preferred
• MBA or equivalent experience preferred
• Ideally 10+ years of product management experience in industrial automation or utility-focused companies
• Hands-on experience with utility and commercial sales channels, including distributors, direct sales, and manufacturer’s representatives required
• Experience in Engineered-to-Order (ETO) business required
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to establish and implement a product line strategy
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and draw meaningful and accurate conclusions from data, including financial analysis
• Proven ability to conduct Voice of the Customer research and define customer needs
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to work out of the Houston, TX, Madison, WI, or Chattanooga, TN locations
