The City of Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an inspector to enforce construction codes and related ordinances. This safety-sensitive position requires passing interview tests and potential drug/alcohol screening.
The inspector will evaluate foundations, framing, plumbing, mechanical and gas systems, and perform final inspections to ensure life safety and code compliance on city projects and state-owned properties. Strong English communication is required and coordination with contractors is routine.
