East Tennessee State University’s (ETSU) Department of Surgery is hiring for a full-time academic colon & rectal surgeon at the Assistant / Associate Professor / Professor level within the Quillen College of Medicine of East Tennessee State University. Primary duties will include support for the colon & rectal surgical needs of the Tri Cities region of Tennessee. The practice will consist of treatment of benign and malignant conditions of the colon, rectum, anus, and small bowel, with a mixture of operative, endoscopic, and office-based locations.
Opportunities exist for the provision of multidisciplinary care of IBD and cancer patients. Candidates should be comfortable treating complex anorectal conditions and pelvic floor disorders. The surgeon will join a new Division of Surgical Oncology at ETSU and work collaboratively with other surgical and medical specialists to grow in this service line.
- MD or DO.
- Must have an unrestricted Tennessee Medical License at time of hire.
- Must be American or Canadian Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery at time of hire.
- Salary – Based on commensurate and experience.
