SCHEDULEMonday - Tuesday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday | 8 am - 9 pm*
Thursday | 8 am - 4 pm
Sunday | 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
* Position requires occasional weeknight hours
JOB SUMMARYThe role of the family director is to oversee all of the children's ministry (ages 6 weeks - 5th grade) and middle school (6th-8th) and high school ministries (9th-12th). This person is responsible for recruiting volunteers, training volunteers, prepping weekly for weekend services and eventually Wednesday night services when the need arises. The Director in this role not only helps make children, students and families feel welcomed and ministered to, but also equips a community of volunteers and leaders who use their giftings and talents for the Glory of God.
The Director schedules volunteers and helps to create community among those who serve in this ministry. The Director in this role assists the Campus Pastor and other campus team members in managing daily operational needs or campus events. This individual must have a passion for children, students and their families. For an individual to be a good fit for this job, they must be a good relational communicator, organized, and passionate about making authentic disciples through family-based ministries.

- Attend all scheduled meetings
- Work all events that are considered all-hands-on-deck (ex., Next Class, Worship Nights, etc.)
- Model Christ in thought, word, deed, and in relationships with others (including spouse, if applicable)
- Maintain a good reputation and do not be associated with slander, gossip, or negativity
- Share concerns about The Experience with your Team Lead in a spirit of “constructive criticism.”
- Foster a good relationship with all leaders at The Experience
- Be a team player and adapt to other personalities and styles.
- Basic knowledge of computer programs and troubleshooting

- Authentic Worship – Oversee worship services and lessons that foster a continuous pursuit of knowledge and faith towards an authentic relationship with Christ through all developmental stages of adolescence.
- Authentic Community – Create an environment where children, students and families are connected in the transition between ministries from birth through 18 years old. Also, building and maintaining community with those who serve in family-based ministries.
- Authentic Community Service – Create and maintain avenues where children, students and families can serve using their gifts and talents. Oversee and manage all family ministry environments at the McMinnville campus (ECCO [Childcare, Nursery, PreK, Elem.], Emerge, EON, & Encounter [Middle, High]).
- Oversee & supervise student ministry for Wednesday night programming (Childcare, Emerge, & Encounter).
- Plan & oversee serving events and fun, engaging events for students to invite friends.
- Develop partnerships with local High School organizations and nonprofits to build trust and create outreach opportunities.
