Job Summary /Basic FunctionServe as a direct report and work in conjunction with the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life to provide leadership development and programming for 25 fraternities and sororities associated with National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Panhellenic Council and North American Interfraternity Conference. The focus is to advise, counsel, and mentor students; assist with advisement of the Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Panhellenic Council, the chapters within each council and Order of Omega.
Develop and present educational programs in the areas of risk management, membership recruitment/intake and education, and values congruence; provide problem resolutions, and community planning for individual chapters as directed. Review financial reports of councils and ensure that all purchases are made according to university and Greek governing council guidelines and with approval in writing by appropriate Greek governing council officers.
Assist to maintain records and prepare reports on fraternity and sorority academic standing, recruitment statistics and accreditation, and Connection Point attendance. Assist the director and committees/councils plan Crash the Commons and other events, Greek Week, community-wide leadership programming, and FSL Awards. Maintain and post relevant promotional material on all FSL social media accounts, in conjunction with the Program Assistant. Serve as liaison between the university and individual chapters, advisors, alumni, and house corporation officers.
Facilitate CSIL communication plan as requested. Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree
Required Related ExperienceNo experience required.
Desirable Related ExperienceMaster's degree in college student personnel, higher education administration, or related field strongly preferred. Affiliation with a Greek letter organization preferred. Two years of progressively responsible Greek Life experience preferred.
