Job Summary /Basic FunctionRecruit students from high schools and community colleges across the state of Tennessee. Counsel prospective students and their parents, represent students and their parents, represent MTSU at high school recruiting events, and serve as liaison with faculty and staff involved in the admissions process. Extensive travel; occasional evening, weekend and extended work hours required. Activities include cultivate and develop relationships with high school counselors, principals, community college counselors and other persons who influence college enrollment decisions.

Bachelor’s degree required.
Required Related ExperienceEntry level position. No experience required.
Required License/Registration/CertificationValid drivers license required. A DMV background check will be conducted prior to the hiring decision.
Desirable Related ExperiencePrevious work experience in higher education preferred.
