This role is not about teaching. It is about motivation. The highest form of support for a student who reaches 99% of their target is to insist it is not finished. If that expectation feels uncomfortable, this role is not the right fit. If it resonates because maintaining a high standard is how you demonstrate belief in a student's potential, continue reading.

Alpha students complete academic learning through AI-driven applications. There are no lectures or textbooks. Half of your time is spent facilitating one‑hour life‑skills sessions covering topics like public speaking, focus, and constructive feedback. The other half is dedicated to 1:1 or small‑group coaching, where you analyze Coachbot data and drive each student toward 100% completion of their weekly app objectives. You will not follow a rigid script — workshop materials provide a foundation, but high performers in this role customize them and create new content when needed.

A successful quarter means every student in your cohort completes weekly app goals, passes the Test2

Pass for all life‑skills workshops, and 90%+ report a strong positive relationship with you. Falling short on any of these three metrics means the role's expectations are not met. In your first year, you will internalize the operational model; as you demonstrate the ability to uphold standards, advancement to Lead Guide becomes available, where you mentor new team members while continuing direct student engagement.

If you prefer traditional classroom instruction, need fully prepared lesson plans, or view warmth and rigor as incompatible, this opportunity is not suitable. If your background includes athletic coaching, camp leadership, tutoring where you refused to accept a student's resignation, or performance experience that enabled you to captivate young audiences, the final interview stage is a full on‑campus day coaching actual Alpha students.

If that prospect excites you most, submit your application now.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Facilitating one‑hour life‑skills sessions for K-8 groups on public speaking, concentration, feedback culture, and other foundational competencies, modifying existing frameworks and creating new workshops when you identify unmet needs.
  • Conducting daily individual and small‑group coaching sessions that drive every student to 100% completion of weekly app objectives, leveraging Coachbot data, Alpha's reward structures (campus currency, competitive leaderboards), and personal rapport to overcome resistance.
  • Delivering the Test2

    Pass (Alpha's competency verification tool) for each life skill, and continuing to coach students who do not initially pass until mastery is achieved.
  • Adjusting your approach across a broad developmental spectrum, from kindergarteners requiring high‑energy engagement and physical activity to 8th graders needing candid conversation and personal accountability.
  • Serving as both the adult who maintains rigorous expectations and the adult students choose to confide in; genuine connection earns the credibility to challenge, and challenging communicates your confidence in their capability.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Delivering whiteboard‑based instruction; academic content is embedded in the applications, not instructor‑led.
  • Creating curricula from the ground up; you activate a tested framework through energy and narrative.
  • Passively monitoring students at workstations; motivation in this model is engaged, individualized, and sustained.
  • Reducing a weekly target to enable a student to reach it; when a student falls behind, the solution is supporting the student, not adjusting the standard.
  • Assessing homework, conducting standardized exam preparation, or handling parent outreach;
    Campus Leads manage family communication, and the other tasks do not exist in…
