Whatyou’ll do
- Design water and wastewater infrastructure systems including pipelines, treatment plants, storage tanks, and pump stations
- Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports for municipal projects
- Perform hydraulic modeling and system analysis using software such as Water
CAD, Innovyze, or similar tools - Support permitting efforts and coordinate with regulatory agencies
- Participate in construction administration activities including site visits and coordination with contractors
- Conduct client meetings and presentations, providing technical insight and project updates
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Manage project tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5+ years of experience working with municipal water and wastewater clients
- Experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with hydraulic modeling software preferred
- Strong understanding of hydraulic analysis and design principles
- In-depth knowledge of utility construction methods, materials, and water/wastewater treatment technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to lead client presentations
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with project financial tracking tools preferred

On‑site:
Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.;
Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
