Supplier Quality Engineer

Your Contribution

* Issues and facilitates supplier corrective action process.

* Issues cost recovery reports.

* Manage supplier quality KPI

* Evaluate and approve Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for suppliers.

* Coordinate supplier quality engineering and/or process changes

* Maintains records of and controls disposition of "Hold For Inspection" (discrepant) items.

* Assures Customer Specific Requirements are met by suppliers

* Interact and support new product launches team for purchase parts related topics

* Participate and/or lead Problem Solving projects

* Conduct inspections of products and provide training of team members requiring guidance.

* Ensure manufacturing documentation includes customer and internal requirements to ensure first time quality product.

Your Experience & Qualifications

* 3-5 years' experience as a Quality Engineer with the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities

* T1 Automotive Manufacturing experience required

* IATF
16949 experience required.

* VDA auditor certified preferred

* ERP Systems experience required; SAP preferred

* PPAP, APQP experience required

* Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus

* Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus
