AboutThe Role
AESC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor leads a multi-craft team of skilled technicians to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of production equipment. This role is a blend of hands-on technical guidance and strategic planning. You will be responsible for scheduling corrective and preventative maintenance (PM), overseeing new equipment installations, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
You will manage daily maintenance operations, drive departmental KPIs, and ensure strict adherence to global standards (IATF
16949, ISO
14001) in a structured, mature operational environment.
- Plan and schedule all maintenance activities (Corrective, PM, and Project-based). Maintain an accurate maintenance log and utilize KPI reporting to track equipment downtime and team efficiency.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of multi-craft technicians. Manage employee records, including attendance, performance reviews, overtime, and safety certifications.
- Interface with Section Managers to set daily priorities. Lead the implementation of One Point Lessons (OPL) and Standard Operating Sheets (SOS) to standardize technical tasks.
- Interface with non-production stores (MRO) to look up and check out parts and supplies needed for daily activities, track scrap costs, and order materials for machinery repairs while adhering to budget constraints.
- Oversee the modification of hardware and software, maintain CAD drawings, and manage technical documentation. Partner with Engineering for new equipment installations and signoffs.
- Ensure 100% adherence to IATF
16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO
14001 standards. Actively identify safety hazards and implement proactive measures to reach zero-incident goals.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading maintenance professionals in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of industrial multi-craft maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Fluid Power, and Robotics).
- Ability to interpret downtime data and communicate technical trends to cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- General knowledge of Automated Systems and calibration requirements.
- Preferred:
Proficiency in Omron PLC programming and robotics. - Familiarity with Quality & Environmental standards (IATF
16949/ISO
14001).
