Role as a Financial Services Representative
As a Financial Services Representative (FSR), you ll play a vital role in our mission. Your responsibilities will include:
- Embodying Smart Bank s Core Values and Core Purpose.
- Follow and embrace the Smart Bank Way
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service, and directing inquiries to the appropriate channels.
- Engage in daily Lobby Management tasks, including warmly greeting clients, offering hospitality, making introductions, and ensuring refreshments are available.
- Accurately receive deposits and payments for all types of Smart Bank accounts, verify cash and negotiability of checks and issue receipts, giving credit for funds according to Bank policies. Provide clients with account information.
- Cash checks and accept withdrawal requests in accordance with Bank policies, referring questionable transactions to supervisor for approval.
- Provide special services as needed; including redeeming US Savings Bonds, issuing Official Checks, coin deposits and coin orders.
- Process payments for Smart Bank credit cards, local utilities, and other services. Ensure that payment information is transmitted to appropriate agencies by daily cut-off.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in cash handling.
The Financial Services Representative typically works during standard business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
