VP​/Director of Finance

Job Description

We are in search for a VP/Director of Finance based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The role involves steering the financial direction of the company, overseeing accounting functions and leading budget processes. The successful candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant.

• Oversee and direct the company's financial and accounting functions.
• Lead the annual budget process and ensure its alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) process to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Direct the auditing process and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures within the organization.
• Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to the company's executives.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Act as a key point of contact for financial and insurance matters, dealing with audits, legal, tax, and insurance issues as necessary.

• Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Experience in Annual Budget preparation and management is essential.
• Must have a strong background in Auditing.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is highly desirable.
