LN Venues, Senior Accountant II

Job Summary

Live Nation Entertainment, a global live entertainment leader, is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to manage and oversee finance activities at the venue level.

• Oversee all aspects of venue accounting and finance including month‑end close, daily revenue reconciliation, and cash management.
• Maintain accurate balance sheets, handle daily flash and comp reports, and produce weekly cost of sales, labor reports, and profit & loss forecasts.
• Manage accounts payable – approve, code, input, and review invoices against purchase orders; oversee vendor and guest relations.
• Conduct daily cash and sales reconciliation; research and explain variances.
• Prepare and issue daily flash, weekly reports, and monthly tax returns.
• Supervise staff, including a lead auditor, cashiers, and purchasing managers; train operations managers on Essentials of Finance.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile actual to perpetual inventory.
• Assist in local and state audits of club books and records.
• Update and reforecast the Present View annual forecasting model; roll out new financial procedures and systems.
• Provide input to Talent Buyer forecasting in the MIDAS system.
• Recognize, identify, and execute profit enhancement opportunities and assist with special projects.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in accounts payable.
• 2–4 years of experience in all aspects of accounting; 2–3 years supervising staff.
• Strong cash management background and ability to communicate at executive level.
• Proficiency in Excel and national‑level general ledger systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred; advanced business degree desirable.
• Flexible schedule (days/nights, weekends, holidays) and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• Preferred:
