Role Description

This full-time, on-site Esthetician role is based at the Light Rx Medspa location in Murfreesboro, TN. The Esthetician will perform a range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including body contouring, laser hair removal, skin tightening, and related services, following all safety and clinical protocols. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their goals, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering services that align with Light Rx standards and FDA‑cleared guidelines.

The Esthetician will educate clients on skin care regimens, pre‑ and post‑treatment instructions, and recommended follow‑up services. Day‑to‑day activities also include maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, documenting services, providing excellent customer service, and supporting membership, package, and product sales to help clients achieve optimal results.

• Strong technical skills in Skin Care and Cosmetology, with the ability to perform and explain non‑surgical aesthetic treatments.
• Hands‑on experience or training in Hair Removal services, ideally including laser hair removal or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a client‑centered approach and the ability to build trust and long‑term relationships.
• Sales aptitude, including comfort discussing treatment plans, package options, and product recommendations in an ethical, consultative manner.
• Current esthetics or cosmetology license in the state of Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain), and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols, prioritize safety, and maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced spa or medical spa environment.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include evenings and weekends based on client and business needs.
