Job Summary
The Director of Project Management has the responsibilities of managing large, complex, cross-functional projects at all levels in support of business and Information Technology (IT) functions. Plan, develop, and implement project plans consistent with project objectives, financial parameters, and business requirements. Provide guidance as necessary to other team members with the goal of process improvement and overall project management quality.
Job ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain list of Path Group projects and track the Developer's progress of tasks during each Sprint.
- Support the creation, refinement, and maintenance of the project management life cycle. Collect feedback efficiency, effectiveness, and usability. Define, prototype, and implement solutions that will improve the [ORG] processes.
- Help to ensure that the Path Group QA Testing team has access to the project documentation in order to create timely testing plans.
- Provide project periodic status reports to Path Group's Project Owners, Stakeholders and Steering Committee. Reports to include, but not limited to, the weekly SVP Tracking & monthly Steering Committee reports.
- Identify and share training opportunities, take advantage of training opportunities to advance Path Group Project Management processes.
- Run various departmental meetings.
- Define, plan, schedule, execute, and complete assigned projects. Use the appropriate project methodology to define all project phases, activities, tasks, and deliverables.
- Review the business case, business objectives, and associated business requirements throughout the project's life cycle. Ensure the client receives expected project deliverables as identified in the scope of the project.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, project team members, and IT.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
- Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
