We are seeking a motivated, results‑oriented college student to join our team full‑time for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on‑the‑job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Work with DC Associates, Supervisors, Managers, and Senior Managers to implement and oversee the completion of continuous improvement initiatives that will drive productivity increases and cost savings through the distribution network.
- Project Management
- Participate in WMS (Warehouse Management System), TMS (Transportation Management System), and YMS (Yard Management Systems) configurations and upgrades within the selected distribution centers.
- Help develop and implement SOPs, Standard Work, and digital training tools for said systems in selected distribution centers.
- Additional assignments to be determined by Senior Manager Logistics and Site Transformation.
- Pursuing bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related fields
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Self‑driven and proactive
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects.
- Relevant coursework or previous internships are preferred.
