Founded in 1977, Stones River Manor is Rutherford County’s only faith‑based, nonprofit senior living community and 2024 Ruthie’s Community Choice Awards Winner. It is a full‑service continuing‑care campus whose goal is to provide a comfortable, happy, and secure environment for our residents.
Full Time Monday‑Friday, 7a‑3:30p SUMMARYKeeps Stones River Manor in clean and orderly condition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, sheetrock work, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
- Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Responds to maintenance request tickets from residents and employees to resolve problems.
- Clean and replace air‑conditioner filters.
- Clean carpet and flooring.
- Empty trash and garbage containers.
- Clean snow and debris from sidewalk; spread salt on walkways to prevent ice buildup.
- Communicates well and coordinates with external businesses and services.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to build and maintain good rapport with residents, coworkers, and external businesses.
- Work as an excellent team player.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must pass drug screening and background check.

- Skilled nursing maintenance experience required
- Experience preferred in heating and air work, sheetrock, some plumbing and electrical.
- Less than high school education.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with residents and coworkers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Valid state driver’s license.
