Senior Program Manager, Middle Mile Fleet Management, Strategy and Process

Senior Program Managers at Amazon’s Middle Mile create large-scale impact across transportation and delivery operations. This role requires a detail‑oriented, technically skilled, innovative leader who can manage multiple priorities, deliver high‑quality results, and keep the customer at the center of program design.
Responsibilities• Own trailer programs focused on improving asset health and reliability by building end‑to‑end strategy, validating assumptions through pilots, and scaling proven initiatives.
• Develop and execute cost‑optimization initiatives, manage pricing agreements with vendors, and drive spend efficiency across Amazon Middle Mile Fleet.
• Partner with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers; navigate ambiguity and develop solutions with minimal guidance.
• Present complex information in a clear and concise manner to varied audiences and senior leadership.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large‑scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
The base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually for Tennessee, Nashville; $ – $ USD annually for Virginia, Arlington; $ – $ USD annually for Washington, Bellevue.
