Position Summary
Overnight Stocking Coach, Non-Complex. Leads and develops teams by teaching training, actively listening to associates through store tours and providing feedback, travelling to teach, and collaborating with all levels regarding store operations. Responsible for maintaining high customer service standards, resolving complaints, improving processes, managing financial performance and sales, budgeting, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation. Provides supervision, hiring, training, mentoring, assigns duties, recognizes associates, ensures compliance with company policies, and promotes a culture of belonging.
Supports business objectives, implements change initiatives, utilizes technology, and upholds Walmart values of integrity, service, and excellence.
- 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Successful completion of a firearms‑specific criminal background check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training for freight locations that sell firearms; or current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility for ammunition‑only locations.
- Attendance and successful completion of all required job trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership; experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
Annual salary range: $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses, regional pay zone, and complex structure pay.
