The Assistant General Manager is responsible for all aspects related to membership sales, while overseeing all facets of operations, front desk, sales, and kids club. Acts as support to the General Manager and a production leader of the gym to ensure financial budgets are achieved. The AGM is a role‑model of the company's values and culture, ensuring a friendly, clean, and safe environment that is engaging to members, team members, and guests.

• Supervise, manage, and lead sales team members to ensure they are meeting expectations and goals consistently.
• Hire, train, and develop sales, kids club, and housekeeping employees.
• Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production.
• Effectively manage the operations of the gym, including managing gym‑controllable inventory and assets.
• Support management in handling cancellations, following procedures to improve member retention and ensuring member concerns are addressed timely.
• Manage member feedback processes.
• Assist General Manager with Medallia management to ensure member concerns are addressed timely.
• Assist General Manager with bi‑weekly payroll to ensure missed punches are corrected and submitted on time.
• Communicate and follow cash management procedures.

• High School diploma with 3 years professional experience. College degree preferred.
• Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.
• Promotionally oriented with ability to direct sales through outreach programs.
• Strong customer service orientation with proven results.
• Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
