Prime Air Ops Manager, Amazon Prime Air

Prime Air is seeking an experienced Drone Operations Manager to own the end‑to‑end operations at our drone delivery hubs. The incumbent will lead the commercial operations center, managing all aspects of commercial operations, including fulfillment, drone maintenance, spare parts, and flight operations, while partnering with customer‑facing and technical support teams to deliver an ultra‑fast delivery experience.

• Lead the commercial operations center, overseeing fulfillment, drone maintenance, spare parts, and flight operations.
• Serve as senior on‑site leader with direct responsibility for managers and employees.
• Partner with customer‑facing teams to provide the best ultra‑fast delivery experience.
• Collaborate with technical, compliance, engineering, IT, facilities, finance, HR, and supply‑chain functions to drive a highly efficient operation.
• Advance Prime Air’s strategic goal of delivering packages to customers via drone.

• 3+ years of direct management experience.
• Experience with staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, and terminations.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and lean techniques.
• Experience in a people‑management or leadership role that includes coaching and developing others.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience working in environments with variable noise, temperature, and weather, including outdoor and refrigerated settings.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience developing and delivering training programs.
• Experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations or similar technical platforms.

• Export Control License compliance may be required.

Base salary: $95,000 – $128,400 USD per year.
