Forklift Operator (Stand up) - 1st Shift
The Forklift Operator/Material Handler position will operate a forklift to stack, relocate, and move goods, supplies and materials from one place to another. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle (i.e. forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork‑grapple, clamps, elevating platform etc.) and may also be required to perform operator duties.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- 2 to 3 years of experience safely operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have valid state issued license to operate a motor vehicle.
- Picks up and delivers parts and materials between production lines.
- Picks up and delivers parts and materials from shipping/receiving and the warehouse.
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.

Skills and Abilities
- Strong analysis, problem solving, process and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Dynamic communication / inter-personal skills.
- Highly organized and possess good decision-making skills.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete forklift training, including written and driving test and be issued a forklift license.
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.
