Your Contribution

As a Maintenance Supervisor (Production Maintenance) reporting to the Head of Operations Support –Filters, you will be responsible to manage a team to achieve the goals of the plant while delivering operational improvements that result in bottom‑line, quantified results. This role will focus on the cost optimization of MAHLE’s manufacturing process through the strategic development and allocation of technical resources while supporting the creation of a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture.

This role is responsible to:

  • Build and execute a lean, continuous improvement roadmap aligned with MPS (MAHLE Production System) principles, prioritizing high‑value opportunities and engaging cross‑functional teams at every level.
  • Partner closely with plant leadership to drive cultural transformation, strengthening collaboration, ownership, and talent development across technical teams.
  • Improve and simplify processes to enhance reliability, predictability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the Maintenance, HVAC, and Fluids teams, ensuring strong technical capability and high performance.
  • Champion a disciplined, data‑driven approach to process management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and new program launch requirements.
  • Serve as a catalyst for innovation, challenging the status quo, influencing stakeholders, and driving adoption of new ideas and technologies.
  • Conduct in‑depth studies in cost, quality, productivity, flow, and root‑cause analysis to identify and eliminate losses.
  • Establish standards and policies for equipment selection, installation, modification, inspection, and maintenance, ensuring world‑class uptime and performance.
  • Develop and manage operational and capital budgets to support profitability and long‑term asset health.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that strengthen cost competitiveness and operational capability.
  • Maintain strong oversight of safety codes and compliance, ensuring a safe and hazard‑aware work environment.
  • Direct technicians in executing projects that support plant goals in productivity, efficiency, scrap reduction, safety, and new product launches.
  • Build and sustain maintenance strategies aligned with MPS standards.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support plant success.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • 10 years of Production Maintenance experience required.
  • Automotive manufacturing industry engineering experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven understanding & successful application of Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies including Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of TPM, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability and Condition Monitoring Systems and Maintenance Strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills are required.
  • Strong understanding and control of safety codes to realize the impact of potential working hazards.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge required in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
