Welder / Fabrication Utility

We are hiring experienced MIG Welders for multiple shifts. If you have solid MIG skills and can produce consistent, clean welds in a fast‑paced fabrication environment, we want to talk to you. Additional processes (TIG, Flux‑Core, Stick) are a bonus (higher pay) but not required. Must be willing to pitch in where needed in a fabrication shop environment.

• 1st Shift: $20–$22/hr
• 2nd Shift: $22–$24/hr
• 3rd Shift: $23–$25/hr

(Shift placement based on experience and production needs)

• Perform MIG welding on customer parts and assemblies
• Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols
• Prep materials, fit up, grind, and clean welds as needed
• Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
• Work safely with overhead cranes, jigs, fixtures, and shop tools
• Support general fabrication tasks as required

• MIG welding experience required
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Experience with fabrication tools (grinders, tape measures, torches, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Willingness to work assigned shift

Work in a dynamic fabrication and weld shop. The hours are 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays, which will fluctuate. Alternatively, there is a 3rd shift available from 6pm-4:30am, Monday through Friday, or a 12‑hour shift from Monday to Thursday to avoid working on Fridays. Enjoy a shift premium of $1.75 for the 3rd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ooltewah, TN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $26.25/hr.
