Operator-Yoplait Logistics-2nd Shift

Requirements

• Internal candidates must have been in their current role for at least 6 months and have no active CA's within the past 12 months.

• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to support production and warehouse operations.
• Transport raw materials and packaging to production areas.
• Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accurate placement of products in warehouse storage.
• Maintain accurate material movements and participate in inventory management.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Actively participate in process improvement.
• Troubleshoot problems with automated robotic palletizers and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues.

• Hours:
  
  2nd shift, 2:30pm–10:40pm.
• Starting salary: $23.23 plus $0.50 shift differential; pay increases every 6 months based on performance.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Plant operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces.
• Must be able to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
• Must be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required.
• Must be willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions.
• Must be willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery.
• Must be able to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is required.
• All employees must go through a forklift certification course and are required to drive a forklift.
