Purpose   The Casting Production Superintendent is accountable for delivering the safety, production, quality, and reliability performance of the casting department through disciplined daily execution.
This position is highly tactical, floor-focused role, with responsibility for driving the day-to-day actions required to control the casting business performance. Key business issues include managing process excursions, underperforming equipment, workforce issues, and resource utilization.
The department Casting Manager defines the operational strategies, priorities, and directional improvements; this role is responsible for deploying, executing, and sustaining those strategies and systems effectively across the operations - business systems that stabilized and continually improve the Casting Operations.
