* Job Description:

*** Set up equipment/work area in preparation for startup, and responsible for filling and making boxes, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
* Responsible for picking up empty boxes from the conveyor line and quickly packing with product.
* Responsible for hand making boxes as needed for certain products.
* Responsible for checking product going into boxes to assure all quality characteristics are met.
* Responsible for making decisions and acting on material to be used.
* Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
* Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
* All other duties as assigned.
* Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
** REQUIREMENTS:
*** Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
* Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
* Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
* Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.* “
