Maintenance Technician III

The Maintenance Technician III performs a variety of tasks and assignments including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. A key focus will be on equipment reliability, safety, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects.

• Repair blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot electrical components such as contractors, switches, relays, and controllers
• Walk the production line daily and look for abnormalities in the equipment
• Troubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineering
• Support the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects to help improve the manufacturing process
• Educate operators to improve day‑to‑day machine operations and update documents if needed
• Order parts and build material lists to complete upcoming projects
• Work as a team or independently as the tasks require
• Maintain an organized and safe work area, wear required Personal Protective Equipment, and safely perform duties while observing approved safety procedures
• Be exposed to outdoor working conditions, and dusty or dirty environments
• Occasionally be on call for a full week, including weekends and nights as part of the team rotation
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
• Experience working on large industrial equipment like high‑temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, powder transfer systems, etc.
• Electrical component knowledge to troubleshoot motor starters, relays, pressure switches, temperature controllers, etc.
• Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings
• Basic welding knowledge preferred
• Candidate must be a permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with export control laws
• Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities based on production priorities
• Able to identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures
• Experience in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100 environment is a plus
• Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbs
• Able to pass a pre‑employment physical
• Candidate must have the capacity to comply with federally mandated export control laws
• Some flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.
