Precision Machinist – Surface Grinding

Near Nashville, TN | $20–$25/hr + OT

Join a leading precision shop specializing in machining and surface grinding. • $20.00 – $25.00/hr (based on experience)
• Overtime paid at 1.5× after 40 hours

• Perform surface grinding setups (manual grinding, fixturing, blocks)
• Execute precision machining of tool steel components
• Read blueprints and machine to tight tolerances
• Inspect parts to meet quality standards
• Work across machining and surface grinding operations

• Experience in machining (manual or CNC)
• Hands‑on surface grinding experience preferred
• Background in tool steel machining strongly preferred
• Blueprint reading skills
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• High school diploma or GED

* Preferred*: Tool steel and Surface Grinding experience.

• Mon‑Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
• 45–50 hours/week (OT Required)
• Occasional Saturdays
