Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Production Supervisor – Murfreesboro, TN

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• Ensure safety and facility policies and procedures are observed and that direct reports are trained accordingly.
• Maintain and monitor workflow by establishing and flexing resources to meet daily output goals and customer needs.
• Record and maintain departmental metrics; recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, employee performance and product quality.
• Communicate goals and standards to employees, ensuring ongoing communication events are sustained.
• Resolve employee issues by listening, communicating, analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action.
• Conduct employee training and performance appraisal processes as delegated and scheduled.
• Maintain departmental standards in safety, quality, productivity, utilization, delivery, training, and other designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area through 5S and other lean tools.
• Use and promote all designated personal protective equipment as required.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years production supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and problem‑solving.
• Excellent communicator, listener, negotiator and facilitator.
• Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate across all levels of the company.
• Experience in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for regular periods.
• Requires operating machinery and handling products, including print materials.
• Frequently moves inside the facility and lifts, pushes, pulls or carries up to 25+ pounds.

• Printing experience.
• Leadership experience and training.
• Continuous improvement / lean manufacturing experience.
• Experience with environmental and safety regulations.

2nd Shift;
Monday – Thursday, 3:00pm – 1:30am.
