Assembler - Full-Time

Assembler within the Saber Frame Up team, responsible for building components and sub-assemblies of heavy-duty vehicles, primarily supporting firetruck production.

• Follow standard work instructions and utilize the Truck Builder system to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform assembly tasks, including wiring, hydraulics, and installing accessories, using appropriate tools.
• Operate specialized equipment like torque tools, cranes, and testing devices safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and 6S standards.
• Identify and correct defects, contributing to process improvements and quality assurance.

• At least 6 months of relevant experience or a high school diploma/equivalent.
• Experience with basic hand tools; manufacturing or Pierce Assembly background is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize safety issues, perform physical tasks (lifting up to 35 lbs., standing, climbing), and read blueprints and work orders.
• Ability to work accurately, follow instructions, and respond to abnormal conditions.
