, in partnership with a prominent metal finishing company in the Murfreesboro, TN area, is seeking a Phosphate Operator to join their team!
Job Summary:

Pay:$21.63/hr

Shifts Available:

2nd Shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Will train on different shift.

Job Description &

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the production line to process customer parts according to specifications.

Load phosphate barrels with appropriate weight manually or using hydraulic dumping equipment to ensure adequate coverage.

Conduct visual in-process inspections and determine part cleaning requirements based on product condition and inspection results.

Add chemicals as needed and report any abnormalities to the Supervisor, Waste Treatment Operator, or Production Manager.

Operate unloading equipment to remove customer parts from phosphating barrels.

Remove excess moisture and oil from processed parts before returning them to containers.

Document production numbers, downtime, and chemical additions.

Store, retrieve, and replace chemical containers using forklifts, hand trucks, or manual lifting.

Clean tanks to remove contaminants and buildup.

Perform scheduled minor line maintenance.

Ability to read instructions, charts, and production paperwork

High level of concentrated attention required across all functions.

Ability to operate a forklift.

On-the-job training is required for this position.
