Overview
Position Title:
Registered Nurse (PRN) - Paragon Infusion Centers
Location:
1855 Medical Center Pkwy, Ste G, Murfreesboro, TN 37129
Shift: Days. PRN RN coverage for Sick Call-offs, PTO, and higher Census days. Clinic
Hours:
Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm. Onsite work required at posted location(s).
Note:
This role requires in-person work; hybrid/virtual work is not applicable unless an accommodation is required by law.
- Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company procedures.
- Perform admissions as directed by Center Director and conduct physical assessments as warranted for new consults; refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessments when needed.
- Document all pertinent data in the patient2s medical record and report significant changes to the Center Director; follow up on identified problems.
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and document findings in the medical record.
- Educate patients and/or family members regarding the therapy plan.
- Ensure medication orders are complete, appropriate, and up to date prior to treatment.
- Adhere to all applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations, including patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state. Multi-state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
- Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test;
Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
- 2+ years of experience with IV access (Port, PICC, Peripheral Line).
- Medication mixing experience and titration experience.
- BSN degree; multi-state license a plus.
- Clerical and administrative RN experience.
