Job Summary /Basic FunctionWork as a collaborative member of a primary medical care team serving university students, faculty, and staff in an ambulatory care setting within the scope of training and licensing. See patients for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute injuries and illnesses. Position classified as Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician's Assistant depending on incumbent licensure and education.
Required EducationBoard Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Required 3 years primary care experience as advanced practitioner Tennessee licensure Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire
Required Related ExperienceThree (3) years experience in primary care and related areas.
Required License/Registration/CertificationBoard Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Required 3 years primary care experience as advanced practitioner Tennessee licensure Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire
Desirable Related ExperienceExperience in college health practice.
Desirable License/Registration/CertificationCurrent BLS certification
