The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for women experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. This role evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, manages therapies, provides education and counseling, and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. The provider stays current with evidence-based practices and emerging research in menopause and women's health.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including health histories, symptom assessments, and relevant physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage conditions and symptoms associated with perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, medical history, and evidence-based guidelines.
• Prescribe and manage menopausal hormone therapy and non-hormonal treatment options as appropriate.
• Evaluate and address sexual health concerns, including vaginal and vulvovaginal health.
• Order, review, and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients on treatment options and lifestyle strategies, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and make appropriate referrals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, professional development, and continuing education related to menopause and women's health.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and organization.

Education & Experience

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, or related field required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Tennessee required.
• Current board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline required.
• Current DEA registration required.
• Experience in women's health, gynecology, primary care, or endocrinology preferred.
• Experience managing menopausal hormone therapy preferred.
• North American Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (NCMP) credential preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Telemedicine experience preferred.
