A leading food manufacturing organization is seeking a Vice President of Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Affairs to provide strategic leadership across food safety, quality assurance, sanitation, and regulatory compliance initiatives throughout a multi-site manufacturing and distribution network.
This executive-level role will lead enterprise-wide food safety and quality systems while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Procurement, Sales, and Executive Leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continued business growth.
Key areas of responsibility include:- Leading food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory programs across multiple manufacturing facilities
- Ensuring compliance with FDA, FSMA, HACCP, SQF/BRC, GMP, OSHA, and customer standards
- Driving audit readiness, recall preparedness, allergen management, supplier quality, and environmental monitoring programs
- Leading regulatory compliance initiatives related to labeling, ingredients, packaging, and commercialization
- Building and developing high‑performing quality and regulatory teams across multiple locations
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing quality risk and improving operational performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in food safety, quality, and regulatory affairs within food manufacturing is required
- Strong background in commercial bakery, bread / grain-based foods is required
- Deep expertise in FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, allergen management, and GFSI audit programs
- Multi-site leadership experience required
