• Deliver an exceptional guest experience: provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed
• Foster a team‑oriented, respectful work environment
• Help keep our stores stocked and fresh: ensure food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed
• Keep the store clean and organized: maintain a clean, welcoming store environment inside and out, and complete regular cleaning tasks
• Assist in inventory management and restocking
• Prepare, handle, and serve food in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients
• Clean all areas of the store, including breaking down food equipment and following established cleaning procedures
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols when handling chemicals
• Keep shelves fully stocked, and backrooms and coolers clean, well‑organized, and maintained
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, process transactions, handle cash and card payments, and provide excellent guest service
• Maintain a clean, organized cash register area stocked with necessary supplies
• Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, responding respectfully and compassionately while recognizing when to elevate to the shift manager
• Manage line lengths to meet guest transaction expectations while providing polite, clear, and prompt communication
• Proactively inform guests about promotional food items to raise awareness and drive product engagement
• Respond openly to feedback from guests, teammates, and leaders, making necessary adjustments to enhance performance
• Be a reliable team player: arrive on time, support teammates, share important information, and work effectively with individuals from different backgrounds
• Engage with guests and teammates politely and respectfully, listening actively to their requests without interrupting

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress)
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment is a plus
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations
