• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Serve multiple customers simultaneously, multitask and handle projects at the same time.
• Stay aware of fashion trends, seek information about new arrivals, and possess product knowledge about fit, color and fashion details.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items that match their needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships that support a productive work environment.
• Proactively communicate store information, brand initiatives, discrepancies and other pertinent information to management.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas, including participation in Talbots Classic Awards.
• Support all areas of operational excellence, including managing inventory according to policies and procedures, filling orders, recalls, recovery, replenishment and re-tickets.
• Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and the business.
• Lead or supervise others on occasion and open or close the store.
• Seek to understand customer needs and wants with curiosity and confidence through intentional conversation.
