The Outside Sales Representative’s role is to help connect people and communities by offering best-in-class internet services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers. This role will also involve traveling outside of the market area to pursue expanded sales.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Serves as a primary driver of new revenue for the Company by actively engaging in prospecting and sales activities
  • Acquires new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads and cold calls
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Provides knowledge and sells fiber services to customers
  • Must develop a deep understanding and stay current on all Company product offerings and align the correct offering with the customer based on their need
  • Works with marketing, business development and operational teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and new market expansions
  • Tracks sales activity and ensures accurate information is gathered to enable various KPIs and reporting that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments within the Company
  • Participates in sales strategies such as marketing campaigns, community events or conferences that result in increasing market share
  • Updates activities and customer information daily in the CRM system
  • Supports team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned
  • Completes all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with department practice, policies, and procedures
  • Travel up to 90% should be expected
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Special projects as requested by senior leadership
  • Assist the team with outbound sales calls as needed
