Sales Director

We're supporting a confidential client search for an experienced sales leader to build and grow a high-performing team. This role is suited to someone with a background in freight brokerage or transportation who can lead people, drive new business, and protect margin. You'll work closely with senior leadership to shape sales strategy, improve performance, and help build a more scalable commercial function.

What you'll do

• Lead sales strategy, territory planning, and new business growth
• Recruit, coach, and develop sales talent
• Manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM discipline
• Own pricing conversations and support gross margin goals
• Partner with Operations, Pricing, Carrier Sales, and Finance

What we're looking for

• 3-5+ years of sales leadership experience in road freight brokerage.
• Proven success leading and scaling sales teams
• Strong enterprise sales and relationship management experience
• Data-driven leadership style and strong communication skills
