Skilled Framer & Construction Technician
Columbia, TN
Pay: $28‑$40 per hour (based on experience).

• Background check required
• Drug screening required

We are a remodeling‑focused company seeking a dependable Framer/Trim Carpenter. This role requires equal proficiency in structural framing (walls, roofs, decks) and finish carpentry (trim, doors, built‑ins, crown molding). While the primary focus is on these core skills, you will occasionally assist with other remodeling tasks to ensure project continuity.

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Frame walls, floors, and roof structures to specification
• Install interior trim, doors, built‑ins, and crown molding
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials precisely
• Assist with remodeling tasks and job site support when needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support other trades as required
• Operate tools safely and efficiently
• Follow safety procedures and report issues

• Proven experience in framing structures such as walls, decks, porches, and additions
• Proven experience in finish carpentry, including installing trim, casing, doors, and built‑ins
• Ability to calculate and cut roof rafters accurately
• Ability to cope and fit crown molding
• Ability to read construction plans accurately
• Strong attention to detail in both framing and finish work
• Comfortable with power tools and construction equipment
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs unassisted and climb ladders up to two stories
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, including heat
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation required
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
• Willingness to assist with broader remodeling tasks as needed
• Handyman or remodeling experience is a plus
