Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to work in the drainage field. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating mini excavators and skid steers. This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work in all weather conditions, and the willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

In addition to operating drainage equipment and machinery, the operator will be expected to perform various physical labor tasks. These include, but are not limited to, laying drainage pipes, trenching, moving materials, setting up job sites, and assisting the crew with manual tasks as needed. This role requires both technical skill and physical stamina to support the full scope of drainage installation and maintenance work.

Responsibilities
  • Operate mini excavators and skid steers to complete drainage projects.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of drainage systems, including trenching and material handling.
  • Safely transport equipment and materials to and from job sites using trucks and trailers.
  • Perform physical labor such as lifting materials, digging, and other tasks as needed.
  • Work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating mini excavators and skid steers is required.
  • Ability to lift over 50lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Experience driving a truck and trailer is required.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols on job sites.
