Head Soccer Coach

Kings Hammer Soccer Club is dedicated to developing high-level players within the club’s Elite pathway. Our mission is to foster player growth while maintaining alignment with our values and vision.

A Coach – Elite/Pre Elite at Kings Hammer Soccer Club is responsible for coaching and developing high-level players within the club’s Elite pathway. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills.

• Lead training sessions and implement the club’s curriculum for the Elite platform
• Conduct pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities, including warm-ups, team talks, and debriefs
• Provide individual development plans (IDPs) for players and monitor their progress
• Use video analysis tools to review matches and training sessions with players

• Communicate schedules, game plans, and updates effectively to players and parents
• Collaborate with other Elite/Pre Elite coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive player development pathway
• Maintain open and professional communication with Directors to discuss team performance and potential high-performing players

• Attend Kings Hammer coach education sessions (formal and informal)
• Adhere to the club’s code of conduct, always ensuring professional behavior
• Submit player evaluations at a minimum of twice yearly and communicate feedback to players and families
• Check and respond to all emails/communications within twenty four to forty eight hours

• Attend all scheduled matches, showcases, and tournaments for assigned teams
• Represent the club professionally at all events, ensuring alignment with its mission and values

• Implement the club’s core values, mission, and football philosophy in all aspects of coaching

• Deliver training sessions that adhere to the club’s curriculum and periodization
• Demonstrate effective planning, organization, and post-training reflection

• Execute pre-game, half-time, and post-game responsibilities effectively
• Maintain a positive communication style and provide tactical adjustments during matches

• Foster clear and consistent communication with players and parents
• Provide updates and feedback through email, meetings, and video sessions

• Pursue continuous coaching education and certifications through the KHSC portal
• Actively seek additional opportunities to grow and enhance coaching skills

• Uphold the Coaches Code of Conduct laid out by Kings Hammer Soccer Club
• Represent the values and mission of Kings Hammer Soccer Club
• Ensure a positive and professional environment for players, staff, and families
• Avoid any actions that could harm the reputation of the club
