The Heavy Equipment Operator at LoJac Companies is responsible for safely operating off‑highway equipment to transport materials within the facility. This role emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and monitoring operations to ensure efficient and safe processes.

• Safely operate off‑highway equipment to transport raw materials and/or finished products throughout the facility.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and accurately complete daily mobile equipment reports and other relevant documentation.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
• Inspect grounds for safe zones, safety precautions, and other hazards at every job site.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner as needed by management.
• Conduct routine maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure proper working order.

• Work overtime if needed by supervisor.
• Stand, kneel, walk, etc for long periods of time.
• Willing to take OSHA courses to ensure safety knowledge.
• Willing to take First Aid courses to ensure safety knowledge.
• All other duties as required by business needs.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma
• Experience:
  
  Work in Construction industry 1 year (Preferred)
• Other: CDL License
  - Class B (Required)
• Tanker Endorsement
• Clean Driving Record
• Must pass background and drug screen prior to hire
