NEMT Driver​/Dispatcher

Description

At SST Mobility, we provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for clients attending medical appointments, rehabilitation services, dialysis appointments, and community programs.

We are currently hiring experienced:

• NEMT Drivers
• Wheelchair Transport Drivers
• Patient Transport Drivers
• Paratransit / Shuttle Drivers
• Healthcare experience such as CNA, EMT, or caregiving is also valued
• Candidates with both driving and dispatching experience are strongly preferred
• Drivers that live within 30 minutes of Nashville are ideal

• Premium pay opportunities $18 per hour
• Base pay: $15 - $16.75 per hour

Team members must be available

• Wednesday - Saturday
• Four 10-hour shifts per week, up to 40 hours per week
• One day working in the office supporting dispatch operations
• Three days providing NEMT Driver services
• Office day may vary based on operational needs
• Hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate based on service demand

Occasional weekend shifts may be available and are paid at the premium rates.

• Transport clients safely to appointments and community outings
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs and mobility support
• Follow scheduled routes and communicate with dispatch
• Support dispatch operations, including scheduling trips, communicating with drivers, and assisting with route coordination
• Maintain accurate trip documentation and records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle
• Deliver compassionate and professional customer service

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• 1 year of prior experience in transportation services and dispatching preferred
• Experience with scheduling passenger pickup and drop-offs
• Ability to lift, move, push, and/or pull equipment: ability to lift in excess of 40 to 70 pounds
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check per state and company standards
• Willingness to complete are required training and certification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize safety while on the road
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Compassionate and caring personality
