As a CDL Hydrovac Operator, you'll safely operate hydrovac equipment to support utility, municipal, industrial, environmental, and construction projects throughout the region.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate Hydrovac and vacuum excavation equipment
- Perform hydro excavation around underground utilities
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and job sites
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Pro-Vac professionally
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
- Work overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as business needs require
- Class A or Class B CDL required
- Tanker and Air Brake Endorsements required
- Previous Hydrovac, Vacuum Truck, Construction, Utility, or Heavy Equipment experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR review
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
- Standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching throughout the workday
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
- Operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment over varied terrain
- Working around active traffic, heavy equipment, and underground utilities
- Wearing required PPE, including respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
- Working in confined spaces in accordance with company safety procedures
